Am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and a Colorectal Surgeon, My special interest lies in Laparoscopy, Proctology, Aesthetic surgery . Am a qualified medico-legal consultant and an academician, in private practice since last Twenty years in Maninagar ; Have a keen interest in Surgical Laparoscopic & Open Gastroentrology and Coloproctology. Am actively involved both in diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures . Had my hands on Laparoscopy training way back in 1992 at the P D Hinduja National Hospital Under the able guidance of Dr Thempton E Udwadia In Jan 1999 was the first to launch Infrared Coagulation as an OPD treatment for Piles in the western India and have till date done 2500 plus procedures with it Again not to be left behind launched the KM 25 Doppler guided Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation Evidence based procedure for the first time in Ahmedabad only second in India Have demonstrated live , demonstrated videos & delivered lectures on Laproscopic Cholecystectomy ; Infrared Coagulation ; Medical Negligence and DGHAL |
